Adjustable Sliding Bed
Layer Height
A significant advantage of the Blackout series is that it offers a practical tool that allows the sliding bearing elements to be easily replaced or adjusted. This feature ensures that the sliding roller operates properly in the long term, ensuring minimal stress is applied to the frame. In addition, the electrostatic coating and large bearing points contribute to maintaining the value of the silage compactor.
During the silage process, it is extremely important to ensure that each feed layer does not exceed approximately 30 cm in height. As the layer height increases, the compaction efficiency begins to decrease. BLACKOUT is specifically designed with a roll body to handle excessive loads and guarantees long-lasting performance.
Water Filling
Both the roll body and the frame can be easily filled with water using filling screws. The two compartments inside the roll body prevent unwanted splashing during operation. To further increase the total weight, the solid head can be filled with water, sand, or gravel. This flexibility allows the weight of the silage roll to be optimized for a wide range of tractor sizes.

Double Acting Control Unit
Cylinder Technology
To operate the silage edge compactor effectively, a dual-action control unit is required on both sides. This control system allows precise and independent control of the compactor’s movements, ensuring optimal compaction of the silo edges. The improved compaction process reduces spoilage and increases the retention of essential nutrients, resulting in higher quality silage and improved animal feed performance.
Efficient roller technology creates optimal conditions for lactic acid fermentation and significantly improves the palatability of the base feed.
